~A Light Unto My Path~

Here I am unlike before

Being led by the Holy Spirit more

Dying daily to the flesh of old

A renewed mind for Christ more bold

Reading his word has forever changed me

Confession of sins has set me free

Speaking out words for sowing seeds

Waiting for the harvest of prosperity

Many blessings come to the just

Keeping focused on the Lord Jesus

 For no matter the day or hour

The Holy Spirit gives supernatural power

 I've come upon many turns and curves

Some for the better and some for the worse

All roads eventually led to positive turns

For many life lessons I have now learned

Trust in the Almighty everyday

 Send prayers up in Jesus name

Feed the Holy Spirit with the word

 Be guided by the gentle voice you've heard

Be quick to listen and slow to talk

 Take heed to walk the christian walk

Watch out for traps that can ensnare you

Seek the Holy Spirit to guide you through

The body of Christ is to be faithful believers

Not to be given over to evil deceivers

As God spoke this world into creation

 Your words are seeds for a christian foundation

Why be in bondage with power to change

Power in The Word you can proclaim

Victory in Jesus if you call upon His name

Strongholds are only lies for the devil's gain

So come one ,come all, be bold

 History is in fact His Story told

From Genesis to Revelation

 It's His Will that gives total salvation

Luke 9-13   And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.

10 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

11 If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent?

12 Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion?

13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?

John 16:13 amplified bible

13 But when He, the Spirit of Truth (the Truth-giving Spirit) comes, He will guide you into all the Truth (the whole, full Truth). For He will not speak His own message [on His own authority]; but He will tell whatever He hears [from the Father; He will give the message that has been given to Him], and He will announce and declare to you the things that are to come [that will happen in the future].
